Yeah my friend told me about it, and I asked her if she was sure it was him and she said she'd know that voice anywhere!
So, did anyone catch the sneak premiere of Wander Over Yonder on August 16? What did you think?
I thought it looked good (smooth animation, colorful, fun character designs etc) and was pretty funny, but OMG was it loud! Maybe it's just me not being used to kids' cartoons of today, because I haven't watched a lot of them for the past 15 years or so and I grew up in the 80's when shows in general were a little... slower... and less intense, so maybe it's just me being old (I'm 30).
And as much as I love Jack I found his voice acting pretty annoying - I prefer it when he speaks with his more normal and milder voice, like in 30 Rock or Wreck-It Ralph - so that was a bit disappointing to me as a fan of his. I had expected a character described as a "nomadic hippe that makes friends all over the galaxy" to be more calm/relaxed/laid-back, you know?
Oh well, I'll probably keep watching it for a while anyway. Maybe he calms down. ^^
